Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Some years ago, an accident left me in a wheelchair. Not long after, a severe ear infection led to a coma and finally brain surgery. Between the two, I lost some of my physical function, memory, and some cognitive skills. But I refused to let that define me.

With encouragement from my medical team, I returned to gaming—a world where I once thrived as the World of Warcraft Player. In March this year I embraced live streaming, found a welcoming game, and discovered something far greater than gameplay—I’m building friendships, regaining confidence, and finding joy in every step of this journey.

So, who am I? A quirky, unapologetic, empirical, 74 year old Autistic person of the female variety who is fueled by heavy metal music, motorbikes, gaming, and MMA. I prioritize God, my family, and everything that makes life exciting.
